Do try using unusual shapes of magnet ie triangle, irregular polygons, concave not polygons, etc these can provide some effect like unipolar magnet...

You may try as long as you like, but you will never reach the point of a perpetuum mobile. Just pick any physician you like and ask for the law of conservation of energy: there is always a loss if you try to transform energy like motion into another form like electricity. You can*t break the law of physiks. But there is something like free energy where which you can use gravity - tides for example to turn motion (water flows) into electrical energy. Just give something like this a try but forget about magnets.

Here's a tip. When magnetic fields interfere with another, you have not only 1 dimension available, you have 3 dimensions, use them. You can always arrange the magnets to be somewhere else, where they don't interfere if you like.

This is such a great idea. However, I recently came to belief that mechanical advantage doesn't exist in the way we think of it. I'm afraid, the way it works is: You have a flywheel with 500 Energy, now you can slowly take that energy and feed it into your mechanical advantage, ultimately getting 500 Energy out. However, if you don't use any mechanical advantage, you also get 500 Energy out of the flywheel. Even though, in mechanical advantage you're dealing with let's say 2 times lower forces means that you have to do it twice as long. But, if it's possible at all to generate free energy it needs to be from an unknown source, maybe we overlooked something. Can't wait to see the results, you're definitely getting a nice runtime I believe

Oh, and yes, metal is your worst enemy, at least as long as you're not harvesting these eddy currents. Ball bearings also increase their friction drastically when introduced to magnetic fields. So you definitely have to use full! ceramic bearings.

As you explained, you can arrange magnets to get a slingshot effect, however it basically has a boundary you need to cross first. The general idea now is to have enough inertia/momentum to easily overcome this. Once you got that, you enter the slingshot area again, also gaining inertia/momentum again. But somehow I think it's still not that easy

According to google material fatigue will occur at about 100 mio. shifts. Assuming 1000 revolutions per minute, running non stop this would be only about 5 years until an engine would fail due to material fatigue. 17 state changes a minutes is way too slow to do anything practical besides pumping water or something. 100 million cycles is not really as much as it seems. Just think your cars engine, it revs somewhere in the 1500-3000 mark.

Perhaps a kind of ball and stick chain would slide, allowing continuing motion?

Pretty sure you'll end up with a lot more efficiency if you get rid of the metal. There should be no drag on the magnets at all until you short the circuit So that the back EMF of the coil collapsing through the short circuit would cause a 'good' drag on the magnets.

The issue is that springs exhibit a non- even force so that the arm is not itself balanced. If the arms maintained balance with gravity over at least 1/4th the wheel, then the idea would work. The core issue is that in this config, it takes energy to raise the arms, in order to cause the imbalance. You need to cancel the force on the arms so that raising or lowering costs no energy (just friction at the bearing). But you can't do that with those springs, their foce curves are all wrong.

So..... You are trying to make a free energy device?
